Awesome?

So I was at a friend's party a couple of weeks back and two girls that I am friends with were talking about how I am awesome because I stay sober and help anyone that needs it. But they said it in a very general way implying that just overall as a person I am awesome. Well I like one of the girls romantically and I told her that a while back and her response was basically I don't like you that way, and the other one I know doesn't like me that way. Well, last week I had a party and the one I don't like was again talking about how awesome I am. Really all I am saying is that girls need to be more forward and direct. They need to start telling guys how they actually feel and stop stringing them along.

Men we need to rise up and ignore women stop going to them and them come to us. I say let's give them a taste of their own medicine!

I am just so sick of girls saying one thing and then thinking another, but at the same time you have no idea what they mean. In the words of the immortal Charlie Brown,"UGGGG!"

HEAR, HEAR, B. RON! I can't imagine how many times Dane and I have had that exact same thought process.

I've taken it to the source. Be unbelievably blunt (almost rude) yourself and force the truth out of them. It's the only way.

POWER, BROTHER!

although i agree with my flame haired co-host, one must remember to be firm, yet not off-putting. the female is a fragile puzzle, a little to much scorn will lead to widespread rumors of homosexuality or impotence. I'm not saying, I'm just saying...so keep it real and calm

Thank you brothers of the cause. I appreciate the support in the fight for the truth.

But I am sad to say I have attended yet another party at which I was told of my awesomeness. I am distraught after these events and find it hard to go on loving the one that I do.

Hopefully soon she sees the light, or at least is made aware of it by others.
